Compare the Pusheen Boba Tea and Bento Box Surprise Squishies on price, materials, and collectibility so you can pick the right blind-box squishy for you.
Quick answer
Choose the Pusheen Boba Tea Surprise Squishy if you want a boba-pearl-filled, stretchy squishy and don't mind paying a little more. Choose the Pusheen Bento Box Surprise Squishy if you prefer a bouncy, water-filled mochi texture at a lower price.
Price and what you get
The Boba Tea squishy is listed at USD 9.22 (compared with USD 12.99), while the Bento Box squishy is USD 7.32 (compared with USD 12.00). Both are single-figurine blind capsules, so the price difference buys a different squishy material and theme rather than extra pieces.
Each capsule contains one squishy figurine, and ordering five does not guarantee you will receive all five designs in either series. If completing a set matters to you, budget for duplicates and treat the lower Bento Box price as a way to offset that risk.
Texture and theme: boba pearls vs water-filled mochi
The Boba Tea squishy is described as soft and stretchy with boba pearls inside. That makes it the more tactile, fidget-friendly option if you like squeezing and stretching.
The Bento Box squishy is bouncy and water-filled with a mochi-like feel. It suits people who prefer a softer, puffier squish over a stretchy one. Neither listing specifies dimensions, so if size is critical, treat that as an unknown rather than assuming one is larger.
The blind-box trade-off
Both are blind capsules: you get one of five designs, and opened packages cannot be returned or exchanged. That policy applies equally, so the real difference is how much you are willing to spend per attempt at the design you want.
The Boba Tea series includes Pusheen, Stormy, Pip, Sloth, and Bo. The Bento Box series is themed around Pusheen's Sushi Club. If you are chasing a specific character, the Boba Tea lineup gives you a named checklist to work from.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Price per attempt: Boba Tea costs USD 9.22 versus USD 7.32 for Bento Box. If you plan to buy several capsules chasing a full set, the Bento Box stretches your budget further. Decide your total budget before ordering, not just the price of one capsule.
- Squish feel: Pick Boba Tea for a stretchy, pearl-filled squeeze; pick Bento Box for a bouncy, water-filled mochi feel. Neither is objectively better—match it to how you plan to fidget.
- Duplicate risk: Ordering five capsules does not guarantee all five designs in either series, and opened packages are non-returnable. Plan for repeats or trade with friends rather than expecting a complete set from one order. If a complete set is the goal, buy extras or arrange trades in advance.
